“The experience I have had is that once you start talking about mental health or substance abuse struggles, you realize that actually you’re part of quite a big club.” — Prince Harry

Writing a bio is one of the hardest things ever, right next to telling your story of trauma. I could write personal details on physical and mental abuse, grief and my grown children’s addiction.

But instead I want you to know of love and kindness. And for you to know YOU DESERVE HELP, even when it feels as if there isn’t… My door is always open, the salon, and my home will always be a safe spot for you.

Much love to you all -Pru

God is within her, she will not fail -Psalm 46.5 (He hasn’t let me down.)

Never Give Up

Before NEVER GIVE UP, I struggled with drug addiction for 25 years. After several arrests I was accepted to heroin treatment court in Green Bay, Wisconsin.  I completed the program and graduated in 18 months. I was president of the Oxford sober living house for over a year. Then I became huge voice in the field of recovery and advocate to help people get their lives back. While I have a day job, NGULU, and the mission of our founder David John Peters is my life's work. I try my best to make this world a little bit better than I found it. I wish to see everyone be the best versions of themselves as humanly possible.
